Prewriting Tracing Worksheets
The Free, Printable Prewriting Tracing Worksheets include activities to practice vertical and horizontal lines, which are some of the first strokes that children learn. In these activities, kids start at a black circle and follow the dashed line.
There are also worksheets to practice tracing circles, intersecting lines like a cross, squares, and triangles. In each of these activities, kids also start writing at the black circle and follow the dashed line.
Because the ability to write these various shapes typically develops over several years in early childhood, kids may not be ready to complete all of these worksheets at one time.
