Guess the Pet Mystery Activity
The Guess the Pet Mystery Activity pages have three clues for kids to use to guess the mystery pet at the top of the page. The clues are images of things associated with the pet. For the pet fish, for example, there are images of a fish bowl, water, and fish food. For the pet dog, there are images of a dog bowl, collar, and bone.
Underneath the images is a gray square with three question marks. Kids choose the pet that matches the clues from the three pets at the bottom of the page. Then, they cut and paste the image into the gray square with three question marks. The images are black and white, giving kids an opportunity to have fun coloring the images as they complete the worksheet.
This activity is a fun way for kids to think about what makes each type of pet unique. They can identify the different types of foods, living environments, and materials needed to care for each type of pet. Additionally, kids can practice scissor skills through cutting out the pet image that matches the clues.
