Road trips with young kids are a challenge. Between the frequent snack requests, bathroom breaks, spilling of said snacks, and an incessant “Are we there yet?” from the back seat, it’s tough to keep kids content and entertained. To help keep preschool aged kids happy and busy while traveling, I’ve created a printable free Road Trip Activity Book.
Parents can print it out the free, 9 page Road Trip Activity Book and bring it in the car, along with coloring supplies, as a super easy screen free way to entertain kids on the road.

What activities are in the free Road Trip Activity Book?
The Road Trip Activity Book is 9 pages full of coloring, counting, and pattern work. Here is a breakdown of what’s on each page:
- Road Trip Coloring Page
- Road Trip Scavenger Hunt
- On the Road Coloring Page
- Color the Shapes Activity Page
- Things to Pack Coloring Page
- What object comes next? Pattern Activity
- Places to See Coloring Page
- Count and Match Activity Page
- Places to Stay Coloring Page
What supplies do kids need to complete the Free Road Trip Activity Book?
The last thing parents need is another list of things to pack, so I’ve kept the supplies needed to complete this activity book short!
Coloring supplies are the only supply necessary to complete the workbook. Here are my kids favorite washable crayons and markers (affiliate links).
A hard surface like a book or a clip board is also helpful for kids to write on in the car.
