These Coloring Sorting Worksheets are so much fun, and are a great learning activity! There are 6 free, printable pages. Each page has a variety of fun images that kids can cut and paste into a color category.
The first three Color Sorting activity pages have full color objects for kids to cut and paste into color categories. There are three color categories on each worksheet. I have included the color word and color image on each category column, to help familiarize young kids with colors and color words.
Next, there are three Color Sorting activity pages with black and white images. These are a bit more challenging. First, kids can color the black and white images and then cut and paste them into color categories. On these pages, I have also included the color word and color image on each color category column.

Why is color sorting beneficial?
Kids often enjoy sorting objects by color, and it can be great for their developing brains! When kids sort objects, they are analyzing information, thinking about what makes the objects the same and different, and organizing that information. Additionally, they are thinking critically about the objects they are sorting.
