My kids really love shape matching activities, and I do, too! They are fun and they have many educational benefits as well. As a nod to the cooler fall weather and changing leaves, I’ve created a Pumpkin Shape Matching Printable Activity. I hope you and your kids love it.
What skills does the Pumpkin Shape Matching Activity practice?
Each step of the pumpkin shape matching activity practices different skills. In this activity, kids first trace and color in the pumpkin shapes. This practices shape drawing and early writing skills.
Then, they cut out the shapes with child-safe scissors and paste them on the matching shape. This part of the activity hones scissor skills and shape matching skills.
